Impossible

Impossible.

That Betty Crocker has done it again with her GF Bisquik. In a box. Off the shelf of the actual grocery store. Oh my.

We have to make everything here egg free as well as gluten free, so here is our version.

The Impossible is now completely possible. Real food, real recipes from grandma’s house. Oh my.

Cheeseburger Pie

  • 1 lb. browned ground beef
  • one chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp white pepper
  • 1 C grated mozzerella cheese

Mix:

  • 1/2 C GF bisquick
  • 2 flax eggs
  • 1 T spectrum shortening
  • 1/2 C water

Layer:

cooked meat and onion, sprinkle salt and pepper, spread cheese, pour biscuit mix on top.

Bake at 400 for 30 minutes and DARE them to say it doesn’t taste the same. Srsly.

It’s yummy. Eat it.

The HomeEc experiment

Middle School Home Ec. is now in session.

Jessica will be joining me for posts about her cooking experiments, here on Cabbage Nets.

Stay tuned.
